“Thor’s battle with the giants” painting by Mårten Eskil Winge (1872)

One thing that I always found odd about this painting is Thor’s hammer, and how its handle looks slightly bent. It’s obviously made on purpose.

If you notice the swastika on the belt, keep in mind that the painting was commissioned by the Swedish king in 1872, and thus unrelated with Nazism.
