Michael Sowa – A Summer Night’s Melancholy

Share this on Facebook download .zip with all pictures

Me too! I tried to understand, so I wrote down what I thought/felt when I’m looking at it. Melancholy is probably caused by that lightning, and that view of open window during a summer evening. It triggers good memories, probably from early childhood, when you spent that kind of evenings at home, and not somewhere out playing or partying with friends 🙂 Also:

– silence and calmness
– loneliness, but not the painful one
– longing for something undefined
– fulfillment of basic needs and not demanding anything more
– having a freedom and free will, but with strong sense of duty
