Slightly bigger version [here](http://imgfile.shijieminghua.com/uploads/artGallery/c110605/130HAQ9B30-15Y8.jpg), but some trout has slapped on a kanji watermark.

Can’t find a date in my lazy Wiki-ing, for those like me who are interested in such details, but it’s probably from the “series of paintings of naval battles painted in the 1840s” referred to on [Aivazovsky’s article](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Aivazovsky).

Further trivia – the Battle of Cesme (the real thang, not this piece) seems to have been a key point deciding the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Adds a little more atmosphere, not that it needs it. (More [here](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Chesma))
